As a not-for-profit charitable institution, the Australian Science Media Centre relies on the generosity of the Australian community for funding. Media, academic institutions, government and industry all contribute to the funding of the Centre. To ensure the independence of the Centre, each sponsorship is capped at 10% of total operating costs. To view our statement of independence, click here.
Funders can provide financial or in-kind support through Foundation and Gold sponsorship (see current supporters below).
For further enquiries on sponsorship or the Science-Media Collaboration, please contact the AusSMC on 08 7120 8665 or by email.
*The Government of South Australia has significantly supported the development of the AusSMC. It has provided financial support for infrastructure set-up costs and considerable in kind assistance.
